The Rosemead Explorer and Dial-A-Ride Are Becoming Rosemead Go and Rosemead Go Plus!
Save the Date, Rosemead!
Starting July 1st, the Rosemead Explorer and Dial-A-Ride programs will officially transition to a new, modern transportation program -- introducing Rosemead GO.
Rosemead GO will offer convenient, on-demand, environmentally friendly rides for all residents. As part of this new service, we're also introducing Rosemead GO Plus -- a dedicated service designed specifically to support our senior and disabled riders with enhanced accessibility, personalized service, and expanded service area.
Together, Rosemead GO and Rosemead GO Plus will replace the City's previous transit programs, making it easier than ever to reach your favorite destinations in and around Rosemead!

What is Rosemead GO and Rosemead GO Plus?
Rosemead GO and Rosemead GO Plus will replace the existing Rosemead Explorer and Dial-A-Ride services with on-demand microtransit services. ‘Microtransit’ is a type of transportation service that focuses on getting you around a local area without the limitations of fixed bus routes, such as waiting for the bus or planning your day around a bus schedule.

Rosemead GO will allow people within the City’s boundary to travel to and from anywhere within the City. Here are some Rosemead GO program highlights:
-
Pick up areas: Corner-to-corner, which allows for maximum efficiency of the service and ensures you get to your destination on time. Corner-to-corner may include, but is not limited to, existing bus stops, the intersection of streets, designated pick-up points, and key points of interest.
Rosemead GO Plus will let eligible riders access many of the service features of a Dial-A-Ride program. This includes service anywhere within the City and up to 5 miles to/from the City limits. Here are a few Rosemead GO Plus program highlights:
-
Pick up areas: Curb-to-curb, which allows for maximum flexibility and ensures timely arrival at your destination. With a curb-to-curb service, the vehicle will pick you up at your home or preferred pick-up point and drops you off at your destination without needing to walk to a specific pick-up/drop-off point.
Additionally, Rosemead GO Plus riders will also have the option to schedule rides ahead of time in the app or by calling (626) 572 - 4099
Using the services is easy! Anyone within the service zone can access the Rosemead GO service by downloading the Rosemead GO app from the App Store or Google Play store and following the in-app instructions for setting up your account.
