On July 1, the California Secretary of State scheduled a September 14 recall election that could remove Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom from office. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) mailed Vote by Mail ballots and Sample Ballot Booklets to all registered voters for the Presidential General Election. The City of Rosemead will have one vote centers operating for the September 14, 2021 recall election. Voters may mail in their ballots, drop them off at a vote center, or visit a 24-hour Vote By Mail drop box. Voters can check on their ballot status to confirm if it was received and tallied through the LA County's Vote by Mail Status Tool.

All voters residing within the County of Los Angeles may vote at any Vote Center closed to home or work. On election day, September 14, all vote centers will open at 7:00 a.m. and closed at 8:00 p.m.

Your health and safety is our priority. Vote Centers will follow public health and safety guidelines related to COVID-19, such as:
• Voters wearing face masks while in line or voting (masks will be made available if needed)
• Wiping and sanitizing all surfaces and Ballot Marking Devices after each voter
• Social distancing
• Election Workers wearing protective gloves and masks
