Section 8 Rental Assistance
Section 8 is a federally funded rental assistance program that subsidizes the cost of rental housing for eligible households. Low-income families and individuals rent privately owned housing, and the Housing Authority servicing that area pays the owner directly for a portion of their monthly rent. Rosemead residents interested in this program would need to contact the Los Angeles Community Development Authority during normal business hours at (626) 262-4510 or (800) 731-4663 (Please note: There is often a wait to reach the registration desk) or on-line by clicking here.
