Virtual Community Area Watch Meeting
The City’s regularly scheduled Community Area Watch meetings at the various locations will be on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To adhere to the current public health mandates and guidelines from the Los Angeles County Health Officer, a virtual area watch meeting (Zoom video conference) is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The purpose of the Community Area Watch meeting is to:
- Educate,
- Provide crime statistics and crime trends,
- Share information on personal safety, ways to secure one’s property, and ways to help prevent becoming a victim to a vehicle or home burglary,
- Information and resources on the COVID -19 pandemic,
- Bulky item and shopping cart resources, and
- Facilitate Census outreach
