The Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), better known as Cal/OSHA protects and improves the health and safety of working men and women in California and the safety of passengers riding on elevators, amusement rides, and tramways.
Cal/OSHA’s regulations also require protection for workers exposed to airborne infectious diseases such as the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Cal/OSHA has developed an interim guidance which provides employers and workers with information for preventing exposure to the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), the virus that causes COVID-19.
