Public Swim passes are good for Public Swim hours only.  The Garvey Pool will offer free Public Swim on Saturday, July 3 and Monday, September 6, from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

FREE: YOUTH PUBLIC SWIM PASS
Rosemead Residents Only
Free Swim Passes will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis to youths 14 years and under who live in Rosemead.  They are limited to 1,000 participants per pool.  Apply early!  Applications for passes can be obtained at Garvey Pool.  Completed applications with proof of Rosemead residency must be returned to the pool before a pass will be issued.  In the event the pass is lost, there will be a $ 1.00 replacement charge.  Note:  All other ages will pay the above rates.

FREE: Pool Shuttle Service
The City offers a free shuttle service that provides transportation between Rosemead and Garvey pools.  Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Shuttle Hours: 12 – 4 p.m.
Days of Operation: Monday through Friday
Pick Up Time: Pickup from Rosemead Pool each hour (noon, 1, 2, and 3) and will return from Garvey Pool at the top of each hour with its last scheduled return to leave Garvey at 4.
Cost: Free for all Rosemead Residents Using the Pool

Lap Swim
Lap swim at Garvey Pool. This is for ages 16 and up. The cost is $2 /$3 non-residents per swim or $25/$35 non-residents for a 10 visit pass.
Monday thru Friday:                    5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Private Lessons
What a great way to learn to swim! Private lessons provide one-on-one instruction and Semi–Private lessons serve up to three students per class. Classes consist of five 30-minute lessons. The cost for a private lesson is $80 /$100 non-residents and semi-private lessons are $60/$80 non-residents per person. Registration for private and semi- private lessons can be done over the phone Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Swim Team
Join in on the fun with the Rosemead Rapids Swim Team!

Swimming is considered the perfect workout. It doesn’t stress or damage body joints and it can work virtually every muscle group in the body. We offer some competition too.

Being a part of the Rapids not only promotes fitness, but you can also make a lot of new friends and have fun at the same time.

The Rosemead Rapids Swim Team works out at Garvey Pool, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. The Rapids regularly face off with other municipal swim teams. Cost is $30/$40 non-residents per month and participants must be able to pass swim test given by coach. For further information, call (626) 569-2271.
