Before any project begins, whether it is
the Tree Planting Project,
street resurfacing, or slurry sealing, you will receive several
notices if the project is taking place on your street or in the
immediate area. Since a project may affect where you may park your
vehicle or
when construction crews will be on your street, we will strive to let
you know at least 72 hours in advance. Check here and you will find out
about the projects even sooner.
Dates and locations are subject to change.
Slurry SealProject Timeline: CompletedSlurrry
Seal is a versatile and cost effective way to preserve and protect
asphalt concrete pavement. The application of slurry seal will extend
the life of existing roadway by protecting it form the effects of
weathering. If streets are not slurry sealed, they risk the intrusion
of storm water into the sub-grade below the pavement which can cause
permanent structural damage. The boundaries for this project were San Gabriel Boulevard, the westerly City limit, the San Bernardino Interstate 10 Freeway, and Garvey Avenue. Click here for a map of the project.
