While the thought of government regulation may cause one to
involuntarily shudder, the City of Rosemead operates with the belief
that a high-performing and result-oriented public agency can be more
than simply bureaucratic.
One element of what government does is formulate the rules within which
our society operates. Here in Rosemead, such guidelines are known as
ordinances and the body of our local laws are viewable online by

This page, entitled "Bureaucracy At Its Best," was titled to play off of
the common perception that government regulation equals bureaucracy.
The municipal corporation known as Rosemead believes in the necessary of
setting reasonable guidelines, but also understands that at the end of
the day, our mission requires that we maintain a focus on the needs of
our customers and ultimately, producing outstanding results.
