BOOKING YOUR DIAL-A-RIDE TRIP

CALL IN ADVANCE
You can make reservations up to two (2) weeks in advance! The earlier you call, the better we will be able to serve you with the exact time you request. If you need transportation at the last minute, we will be there to help, however, it may be difficult to give you the exact time you request.  For more information or to schedule a trip, please call (626) 572-4099.

Trips that usually have the longest waits are the ones that are called in at the last minute.

CALL AT LESS BUSY TIMES
Generally, the busiest time for phone calls is between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. Avoiding these times will cut down any hold time you may experience when you call.

BOOK A ROUND-TRIP
By booking both your initial reservation and your return reservation at the same time, you avoid the possibility of your desired return time being full.

As for medical appointments, we recommend that you estimate your return time so you have the security of knowing that we will be there for you after your appointment. If your doctor's appointment ends up being longer than you had estimated, that's not a problem. Give us a call from the doctor's office and we'll find you the best possible solution.

PLAN YOUR TRIP BASED ON YOUR DESIRED ARRIVAL TIME

Let the Rosemead Dial-A-Ride customer service operator know what time you would like to arrive at your destination. By doing so, the operator will help you plan a pickup time that will get you where you need to be, on time!

SCHEDULE CHANGES WITH DISPATCH, NOT WITH THE DRIVER
To ensure that you and other passengers arrive at their destination on time, call the operator to make changes to your schedule.

CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOWS
Do you have a sudden change of plans? Not a problem. Call to inform us at least two hours prior to your scheduled pick up. Drivers only wait 3 minutes outside of your residence before proceeding to the next pick up. If you are not outside, the dispatcher will attempt to reach you at the phone number you provide. If you do not respond you will considered a “No Show”. Excessive no shows may result in a suspension of your Dial-A-Ride service.
