Down Payment Assistance Program

The City of Rosemead is offering a program to assist low income residents with the purchase of their first home through the City of Rosemead's Down Payment Assistance Loan Program.  The program is intended to provide the potential homebuyer a 20% down payment with a maximum allowable amount of $95,000.  The loan has no monthly payment for a term of 30 years as this loan is considered a silent second.  To qualify, the applicant must submit an application and provide income information and documentation that meet the income limits for Los Angeles County.  The properties must be located within Rosemead City limits and meet basic Housing Quality Standards.  Maximum purchase price must be less than $451,000. Priority is given to applicants who live or work in the City of Rosemead.
