Rosemead and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department personnel have recently had success in identifying and prosecuting individuals who commit acts of graffiti vandalism. In one instance, a gang member’s conviction resulted in jail time and an order to pay restitution in the thousands of dollars. Your City Council believes graffiti is a serious matter. The Council has authorized a reward of up to $1,500 for the arrest and conviction of graffiti vandals.
